How we work

This industry has a reputation, and most of it is earned. Here is exactly how a project runs with us, so you can hold us to it.

  1. 01

    Brief

You describe what you need - through the form, by email or on Discord. Framework, player count, what exists already and what is missing. We ask follow-up questions rather than guessing.

Usually one message and one reply.

  2. 02

    Scope and quote

You get a written scope: what will be built, what is explicitly out of scope, what we need from you, and a fixed price against it. If the honest answer is that it is not worth doing, we say that instead.

Typically within 24 hours of the brief.

  3. 03

    Build

Work happens against the agreed scope. On anything larger than a few hours you get milestone builds to test on your own server rather than a single delivery at the end.

    Milestones agreed upfront.

  4. 04

    Handover

Source delivered unobfuscated and unencrypted - yours outright, not licensed. Config documented. For server builds, a written runbook and a recorded walkthrough for your admin team.

You own what you paid for.

  5. 05

    Support

90 days of bug fixes on commissions, 12 months of updates on catalogue resources. Bugs are fixed, not renegotiated. New features are scoped as new work.

Retainers available if you want us on call.

Common questions

Before you ask

Do you take payment upfront?

For fixed-price work, half upfront and half on handover. For hourly work, invoiced at the end of each week. For retainers, monthly in advance. We do not ask for the full amount before anything exists.

What if the scope changes halfway through?

It gets quoted as an addition and you decide whether to take it. What we never do is quietly absorb changes and then present a bigger bill at the end.

Is the source obfuscated or license-locked?

No. Everything we hand over is plain source with no escrow, no license server and no phone-home. If we disappeared tomorrow your server would keep running.

Can you work with my existing developer?

Yes, and it usually goes better when we do. We will match your existing code conventions and hand over something your team can maintain rather than a black box.

What if I only need something small?

Small jobs are fine. A one-hour bug fix is a legitimate piece of work and gets quoted like anything else.

Do you support games not on the list?

Sometimes. If the modding tooling is documented and the community is real, ask. The worst outcome is a straight no rather than a bad quote.

Still have a question?

Ask it directly. You will get a real answer rather than a sales call.
